School information remains the school's property. This includes pupil records, staff details, and other information the school provides. Using Gagner does not give us ownership of any of it.
Gagner works on the school's behalf
Gagner manages school information according to the school's instructions. We provide the platform, tools, and security needed to handle the data, while the school remains in charge of how it is used.
Your information is not used to train AI
Information handled through Gagner's AI tools is not used to train general AI models. We do not sell it to other companies, use it for advertising, or create commercial profiles about pupils from it.
The Rules We Follow
Four important areasNDPA 2023
The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 is the main law covering personal information in Nigeria. It created the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and sets the rules for collecting, using, keeping, and handling people's data.
NDPR 2019
The Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019 was an earlier set of rules for protecting personal information. It helped establish the data protection system that was later strengthened by the 2023 Act.

Important activity on the platform is linked to the staff account that carried it out. This helps schools know who accessed or changed information and when it happened.
Parents only see their own child's information
Parents and guardians can access information about their own child through their personal portal account. They do not need to rely on the school office to retrieve it for them.
AI is used for the student's benefit
Gagner's AI tools are designed to support each student's learning experience. Student information is not turned into a profile for sharing or making money outside the platform.
